vigilante_wake! *snugs* Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct.
Clark watched his lovers sleeping. Bruce had his arm across his chest, lying on his front, his body pressed up close against him; Michael was in a similar position, curled around Bruce.
Clark sighed softly, seeing his breath rustle Bruce's hair slightly. Bruce was smiling in his sleep. Clark smiled upon it seeing it, such a rare sight, and yet more common now, around him and Michael at least.
He gazed up at the high ceiling of Bruce's bedroom, hearing bats returning to their roost in the cave below them, hearing birds awakening, and sleepily starting to sing, welcoming a new day. A gentle, cool breeze caressed the bed, and both Bruce and Michael pressed closer to him. It was still dark in the room, but dawn was just beginning to lighten the darkness; brush strokes of color around the edges.
Clark sighed again, looking forward to the moment when the sun would rise and he could feel its touch upon his skin. But until then, he was content to watch as its fingers caressed his lovers, smoothing away any lines of stress or worry, hiding scars, or limning them with gold.
Clark smiled.

Date: 2008-07-03 06:52 pm (UTC)Meep! *blushes* Thank you so much! You've been so supportive for the past couple of months or so when I've been struggling with my real life. I feel so bad that I haven't had the time to really read or comment on fic, but I'm very lucky to have friends who love me anyway! Especially you! *hugs*
*glomps* Don't feel bad - I know how crazy and stressful and difficult life has been for you, so there's no need! Besides, when you do comment, it just makes it extra special. :) Of course we all love you, silly, you're too awesome for us not to! :D
Clark/sun OTP. Seriously. I love reading about the effect the sunlight has on Superman. It's so sensual! And then the next sentence in that paragraph is so beautiful! The entire fic is lovely!
Hee, I love Clark/Sun! It's so pretty... *happy sigh* Whee! I'm so happy you liked this, Wake! :D *glomps again*
