An update on the wrist saga. While my wrist was better, and indeed, is better, it has now done something weird. I have (what we believe to be) a Ganglion Cyst. It doesn't hurt or anything (unless it's been poked) but it's.... disconcerting to look at your hand and suddenly find this lump there that appeared form nowhere. My mum once had one, so she knows what's it's like, ie, it's not something more scary, but I need to keep an eye on it just in case. *sigh*

I'm going to Forbidden Planet tomorrow, as my male family members can't be bothered to get me birthday presents themselves don't want to get me presents that I won't like. So, shopping!! For good stuff! Weee!!

Also, I'm going to see Pirates of the Caribbean this Thursday morning, at the first showing! Seems likes it's going to be a loooong film. I'm looking forward to it, but did anyone else find that Elizabeth Swann was really annoying in the second film? I liked her fine in the first, but the second one... she really annoyed me. A lot. So much so that I would be happy if she died. No, actually, I won't be happy if she dies, because they would make her have a heroes death. And she doesn't deserve that. She should die in something unglamorous off-screen, like... in childbirth or something.

...As you can see, she really annoyed me.

ETA: Okay, so I've discovered that the bloody lump does hurt, but only when I type. Several other things have gone wrong in the last hour, and now lj has eaten my comment that I was trying to leave for bradygirl_12's latest fic. So, I'll just be over here, crying.

So, Jen said 'it's Star's birthday soon!' and I was all 'what? no way, I didn't see that! and of course me, in all my brilliance, didn't put together that birthday presents=birthday. Duh! Silly me!

Today was my last day of classes! rejoice! but it's been a bad week and I just started a student revolution, lol. Erm. Actually I'm kind of in the middle of that, and the next two weeks are finals. *sighs* but by June 16th I'll be free, woo! at last!

I hope things are okay in your end, and certainly not sucking :) *hugs and runs off*

I'm sorry things haven't been so good for you this week. You know, if you want to vent or something, I'll lend an ear. :) But there's only 2 more weeks to go!!! *encourages*

Things are kinda okay with me. Lots of ups and downs this week... more downs than ups, but... I'm doing okay. My Muses are making sure I look after myself, and don't get too low. *pets them* :)

Thanks for lending an ear! I'll fill you in all the crazy details of my new student activist malarky as soon as.. I have some more concrete details, lol. Right now I'm just organizing my peers and testing the waters to prepare a full blown attack of righteous rage to the school administration *sighs* I kind of don't need the pressue of that on top of the finals, but is has to be done, and I can't just wait for someone else to take responsability, right? If I'm going to complain, then I also have to propose a solution! So. That's what's keeping me tangled...

And yep, 2 more weeks! 15 of June is the last one :) if I can make it trough this week, though, it shall all be piece of cake. I have four final projects due, and a couple of project expos. So. A bit nervous about how much I will be able to finish!

*pets the muses* I'm glad the muses are keeping an eye on you! that's a very important job. Don't let the downs get to you, dear, though I know it sucks when it seems like life isn't adding up. Hopefully it will balance out with lots of awesome (at least from LJ land) your birthday week! :) *huuugs*

The muses are very good to me. :) Things are slowly getting better I think. (hopefully) And the internet is always awesome for when you need a pick me up! :)
