An update on the wrist saga. While my wrist was better, and indeed, is better, it has now done something weird. I have (what we believe to be) a Ganglion Cyst. It doesn't hurt or anything (unless it's been poked) but it's.... disconcerting to look at your hand and suddenly find this lump there that appeared form nowhere. My mum once had one, so she knows what's it's like, ie, it's not something more scary, but I need to keep an eye on it just in case. *sigh*

I'm going to Forbidden Planet tomorrow, as my male family members can't be bothered to get me birthday presents themselves don't want to get me presents that I won't like. So, shopping!! For good stuff! Weee!!

Also, I'm going to see Pirates of the Caribbean this Thursday morning, at the first showing! Seems likes it's going to be a loooong film. I'm looking forward to it, but did anyone else find that Elizabeth Swann was really annoying in the second film? I liked her fine in the first, but the second one... she really annoyed me. A lot. So much so that I would be happy if she died. No, actually, I won't be happy if she dies, because they would make her have a heroes death. And she doesn't deserve that. She should die in something unglamorous off-screen, like... in childbirth or something.

...As you can see, she really annoyed me.

ETA: Okay, so I've discovered that the bloody lump does hurt, but only when I type. Several other things have gone wrong in the last hour, and now lj has eaten my comment that I was trying to leave for bradygirl_12's latest fic. So, I'll just be over here, crying.

As for mine, I think I can probably turn that right back at you...anything Bruce/Clark that's not too depressing will totally make my day. :)

I'll see what I can do! I've got something already written as back up, but we'll see how the muse goes! :)

And oh, I'd love to see that ficlet! (You could probably save it for my birthday and give me that, actually. :)) Even if it's based right in it, no problem at all...I'm still warm and fuzzy from seeing Mina's "Promised Skies," so I'm delighted with stories set in that 'verse. Now I'm curious which line it is, too...but don't spoil me. :)

Well, I don't think its a ficlet anymore. I was really unhappy with it, and I'm re-writing it, and its turned out longer than I thought. I'm not sure if you'd want it for your birthday as it's... angsty. And thank you for saying I can set it in the E&S verse. I think it's going to be different enough from it, but I'm certainly drawing a lot from there. :)

Well, it's somewhat in the vein of 'Heartless' so it is quite angsty. I got it finished today, and then discovered that I actually liked the first version. *rolls eyes* Maybe I'll just have to have two...

And if you're struggling for something for to write for my birthday, then I'd be really happy with something in the Music of the Spheres verse, if that helps. :) If not, then smut is fine! ;)
