Long day yesterday. I really enjoyed it though. Had to get up at 6:15am and left house at 7am. Got into Bristol at about 7:15, and had to wait half and hour before the coach arrived. Left Bristol at 7:55, and got into London at about 10ish. Got on tube at Earl's Court to Edgware Road, and arrived at the hotel at 10:30. Waited in line for about 20mins, then got tickets. Wandered around the hotel a bit, trying to to find where the main part of the con was (ie where the actors were speaking) and then went to get some lunch. Went back into the hotel and stayed in the hall that we found before for nearly 5 hours. I got a headache from everything then, but I enjoyed it very much. Patrick Stewart was very funny, even if we didn't hear all the questions for sitting at the back. Managed to get some photos of him and Dominic Keating and Connor Trinneer. We had to leave as soon as Patrick Stewart had finished. We walked down to Marble Arch tube station and got on the central line, then changed at oxford circus, where it was very busy and hot and confusing. I saw a mouse on the rails while we were waiting for the tube to Victoria. Got the tube to Victoria, and walked through the train station and shopping center part of it, and down the the coach station where we waited for about 20 mins to get on the coach. Left London at 6pm and got back at Bristol at about 8:35pm. There was lost of traffic around Heathrow where I think they were doing roadworks that was making the M25 very busy. Got home at just after 9 and collapsed. The Con was a lot busier than the one they had in 05. I think they could have signed posted things better, as we didn't really know where to go and it was only luck that I overheard some people talking and so had a vague impression of where to go, but other than that it was fun. I do have to wonder though why all the tall people feel an urge to right in front of me at things like this.

Started back doing work today. Finding it a bit difficult to remember I am not on holiday anymore, but by the end of the week that will have gone I guess.

Absolute Power came today! Yay! I have a feeling that I may have passed it in one of the Royal Mail lorry's that we overtook when coming home yesterday.

This week I need to:
Write Thank you cards for Christmas Presents Done!
Write Letter to a Friend Done!
Tidy room on weekend Done important Bits
Put screw that fell out of laptop in properly.
Decide what things going to get from play/amazon this month. Done, when play decides to work properly again.

Just watched 'Two Face 1 and 2'. Wow. Poor poor Harvey and Bruce. I knew what was going to come but they did it so brilliantly. It really killed me because they had made the point of Harvey becoming known in previous episodes, and after 'pretty poison' I had pretty much fallen for him. It was just made all the more worse. Epically after [livejournal.com profile] jen_in_japan latest story arc, it was just, wow.

I need to come up with some new years resolutions. The only one I have come up with so far is to carry on being me. And I suppose to not forget to relax. In the past 2 weeks I have had off I have come to realize that I wasn't really relaxing at all, but I fooled myself into thinking that I was.

Booked the tickets for the Star Trek London Con today. It means quite a long day, but it will be worth it. Just need to convince myself not to spend any money before then and it should all be fine.
