Bruce's Notes: I spent most of today resting. The events of last night just utterly wore me out. And no one wanted me to do anything today. If they're speaking to me. They don't like that I went through with the plan at all. They all had very strong objections to it, but helped me anyway. I must admit to being surprised at how little they fought me over it, but it seems they were waiting for today to be angry with me.

Dick's Notes: We're angry with you because you got yourself HURT!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!! AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alfred found blood on the bed sheets, what the hell do you think we're going to think???? We thought you had torn one of your - 4, I need to remind you! - bullet wounds!!!! God, Bruce, I really don't know what to make of you sometimes. Right now I'm pretty angry at you, as is everyone else. You should have just stayed in bed and let us handle the Joker. We're more than capable of doing so. And next time? Don't exaggerate how you're feeling! Don't fool us into thinking that you're healing better than you actually are! And as for how we know that? You slept for nearly 12 hours last night, Bruce! 12 hours!!! For you that's like a sleeping for a week! And don't think that I want to leave, either. Just because Tim and Cass and I were talking about what I was doing to the museum, doesn't mean I want to leave for New York right away, okay? Oh, and I really can't wait to see my birthday present if you're putting this much thought into it! ;)

Bruce's Notes: Alright, that's it. I promised death to the next person who broke into my laptop, and Dick's marked himself for it. Now, he made the mistake of doing so while I was still resting, which means I have lots of time to plan....

I wasn't really hurt. It was really just a scratch. But of course, the overprotective people in my life don't see it that way.

I've got an appointment to see Harvey tomorrow. I'm going to have to be very quiet about it, since Bruce Wayne doesn't come back from his holiday until Monday morning. I'll be able to bribe the people at Arkham, though. I've done it before. I hate to admit it, but sometimes the corruption in this city... I don't want to say 'works', but is.... useful to have.

I need to sort out stuff for the Caribbean with Clark, too. We'll leave on Friday evening.

Bruce needs a whap upside the head sometimes. Gods, that man is self-destructive stubborn! He's lucky people put up with his crap.

That caring nature shines out more than he realizes (his concern for Harvey and his family) so that must be the reason they just don't toss him into the ocean! :)

I'm glad he and Clark are going to get that Caribbean vacation, and as for Dick, it'd better be a great present! ;)

I think he was just far too tired to give it much thought and then slept through the explosions. LOL.

The idea of Bruce sleeping for 12 hours straight is almost terrifying! :) And the idea of Bruce using the corruption of Gotham to his advantage is delightful.

LOL, it is, isn't it! ;) I must admit, I did basically just rip off Bruce bribing the guards at Arkham from the scene in MOTS when he did the same... :p

*snork* I...uh, totally forgot that scene. :) I'm sure it's appeared in canon as well! We're all pretty much always ripping off canon...except for the sexy man-loving... ;)
