Title: Why you should never dress up as Batman...
Pairing/Characters: Superman/Batman, Brandon Routh
Rating: PGish
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Author's Note: It's... crazy. It's also supposed to by funny... Inspired from the knowledge that Brandon Routh once dressed up as Batman for Halloween. Here's a pic... Brandon Routh as Batman. Also unbetaed, so point and I shall correct.

Batman glared at Superman the second he touched down on the rooftop next to him. Kal spoke before Batman could.

"Yes. I know. I won't be staying in 'your city' for long, I promise." Batman was still glaring at him. "What?" Kal eventually demanded, after it seemed that Batman would glare at him indefinitely.

Wordlessly, Batman pointed at the skylight they were standing next to. Kal looked down. It looked like there was a costume party being held. He recognized a few faces, but nothing except the normal things that happened at parties seemed to be going on. Kal returned his gaze to Batman.

"What, people aren't allowed to have fun in Gotham now?" Batman scowled slightly and pointed at the skylight again. Kal rolled his eyes. "Would it kill you to talk to me?"

Batman's scowl intensified. "Look," he finally said.

Kal rolled his eyes again, but did what Batman said. Same as before, people having a good time... wait. Was that who he thought it was...? Kal looked closer. It was. Brandon Routh, the actor who portrayed him in those films.

Dressed in a Batman costume.

Kal cleared his throat slightly. "Well, it looks like you've got a fan, Bruce." Batman scowled at him again. If he did that anymore, his face would get permanently stuck like that, he thought. "Oh, come on Bruce!"

"He could have come as someone else."

"Who?"

Batman shifted slightly. " I don't know! The Hulk?"

Kal stared. "The Hulk's green, Bruce."

"So?"

Kal rolled his eyes, "It's just a costume, Bruce. He's probably excited about the possibility of doing a film with the actor who portrays you. You know, the 'World's Finest' film."

"I'm a urban legend. I shouldn't have films about me." Batman was glowering at him now.

"Right." Now didn't seem like the best time to mention the Bat-signal. "What are you doing here anyway? No one's going to think he's you."

Batman opened his mouth to reply when there was a sudden commotion in the room below them. They both looked down to see Talia throw her arms about Brandon, kiss him sloppily and call him 'beloved'. Kal blinked. So did Brandon. Batman stoked his chin thoughtfully.

"You know, there may be advantages to people going around dressed like me after all."

Kal turned, and looked at him . Below them, security guards were forcibly removing Talia from Brandon. She was screaming. Brandon was cringing. Kal looked between the scene below and Batman. This was why he didn't like coming to Gotham. Crazy things always happened here. Give him Metropolis with her supervillians and dimensional rifts any day...

Batman turned and walked away. "Well, there's no reason for me to stay here anymore." Kal blinked at him. Batman stood at the edge of the building then turned and looked at him, annoyed. "Come on," he growled.

"What?" Talia's screams could be heard plainly now as she was forced into police custody.

"Aren't you going to show me what you look like dressed as me?"

Kal smirked. "Only if you dress like me." Batman returned his smirk, then jumped off the building, heading in the direction of Wayne Manor. Kal shook his head before following him. Yes, Gotham was crazy. But if it meant he could see Bruce dressed up like him, and then have his way with him... well, Gotham wasn't all bad.
