No surprise! When I friended you I knew someone with the name [livejournal.com profile] starsandsea would be sweet and artistic, and your writing and jewelry-making have borne that out! :)

And you're always sweet! :)

The only thing that surprises me is that you hadn't "Published a book", what are you waiting for?

You've seen a meteor shower? When was that? Now I'm envious...

If you don't mind me asking, what "art from scratch" and what language did you learn on your own?

Well, I'm waiting for DC to give up the rights to their characters. Then I'll write a BatClan story, with guest appearances from the JLA and JSA, and loads of subtext between Batman and Superman... *ahem*

You've seen a meteor shower? When was that? Now I'm envious...

I saw one when I was little! Maybe 7 or 8? I can't really remember much about it, save that it was really pretty. :)

If you don't mind me asking, what "art from scratch" and what language did you learn on your own?

I was stretching the 'art' a bit, prehaps, but all the costume jewellery stuff I know I learned by experimenting, mainly. :) The language I'm still trying to learn is Welsh! But it's complicated... :)

Like I said. What are you waiting for? Can't wait to see that story.

You can do that and put the book on the net. :P

Or you can publish it your self. I don't know how it is for American franchise but as far as I know fans of anime(japanese animation) can make fan comics(a.k.a. doujinshi) and stories and sell those(actually I came across a few DC doujinshi too). The thing is that the person cant give it for mass production, since they are the ones paying to make them, and since it isn't theirs.

How about anything not fandom related?

Heh, well, I'm much more of a short story writer, writing a novel length book would be quite difficult for me. Maybe it they were a collection of short stories... :)

How about anything not fandom related?

Eh, I'm really not good at coming up with original characters! And I'm sure I would just be basing them off ones I already know, lol. :)

It surprises me that you've played in a band! I'm curious, what kind of band was it and what did you play? :)

LOL, well, I was maybe stretching that a bit, but I was in the school band! I played the flute and 95% of the time I was given all the solos... >_

School bands count! :D Err ... so I say because I was in the school band, too! I also played the flute but it was only for a couple years. It sounds like you were really good at it! (Also, that icon kicks ass X) ).

Ooooh, you played the flute too? Cool. I don't think I was good at it as so much... well, it was a very small band. I was the youngest member and I was the only girl. So they were kinda obligated to give me the solos! :p

I love that moment in the film so much. I had to stop myself from squeeing out loud in the cinema, lol. *hearts Bruce*

I have to say I was surprised by how down on yourself you are sometimes, because I think you're totally awesome!

I hope that didn't sound really offensive...

*hugs*

This isn't exactly a huge surprise that I had or anything, but I found it interesting that you create jewelry - I have a lot of admiration for "crafty" people, and I think it's great that you can make and sell some of your artwork.

I really miss that little plastic Lego dragon...

So I can just copy the list, and bold the ones I have done? (Eager to play!)

Hrmm.. I think the bit that took me by surprise was the horse riding, when I first learned you did it! I guess it just seems like such a... an alien thing for me, I guess! I have seen horses only a bunch of times in my life, and I love them, but still! It was a very cool surprise, though! I wants pictures of of you riding! yes. Yes I do.

*grins* I kinda wish I could go more often but it's expensive. And, well, it's cold. And wet. And it's going to be the holidays soon, so there will be children! *is a wimp*

Heh, there might be pics, one day. I will look all awkward and ungraceful! :p
