I want to a say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who said such nice things about me at merfilly's Love Fest meme. *hugs you all* Your words have forever touched me, and nearly made me cry. *hugs you all again* I'm once again reminded how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends. :)



I made a test piece of jewellery the other day, in the style I used to work in before I started making bead jewellery. It's been about a year since I last worked in this style, so I'm a bit rusty, lol. But, here is a pic of the test piece! I hope to make it in silver, with contrasting copper in the panels:




It will hopefully be a pendant!

*grins* It's really nice to work with metals again. I hope to make the final version this week? Maybe? I might get sidetracked by tiaras for a while, lol. But I'll post a pic when I do make it! :D And I'm really glad you like it too. :)

Ooooh, sparkly! I love copper very much, somehow--it's such a beautiful metal.

I really like copper too, but it's not the best metal to use in jewellery, alas. :p

Ohhh, that's so cool! I'm happy to hear you're taking this up again, it sounds like a lot of fun to work on them... maybe that's why you're wrist has been hurting, too? unusual work? *hugs* I hope your hand is better and I can't wait to see how these turn out! pretty pendant! (I love it in copper, actually! I love silver, but copper has a very.. earthy feeling for me...)

It's a lot of fun to work on this type of jewellery! I especially like the heating up - pretty colours! :P *hugs back* My wrist is much better now, not hurting at all! I think that doing this type of work again certainly played a role in that. How's your wrist now? Better, I hope! *hugs again* LOL, it is pretty in copper! But copper isn't the best metal for jewellery, unfortunately. :( Anyway, I really pleased you like it! :D
