Charlie had said it before. Humans were stupid. How couldn't they see everything that was so obvious? He knew they weren't all blind. Charlie nuzzled The Nice Man at the thought, receiving a pet of his feathers in return. Charlie looked over at the Not-Perches human and The Man In Bright Colored Clothes and sighed.
They were stupid. Charlie had seen them, first when the Nice Man had had to help the Not-Perches human - his not-perches had come off!!!! Charlie had been most shocked. He wondered if he'd have to remain the Not-Perches human to... the Not-Not-Perches Human? Anyway, he had been hurt. And The Man In Bright Colored Clothes had been so worried. And then, later, when the Man In Bright Colored Clothes had been hurt, and no one knew why (at least Charlie assumed so. The Nice Man and The Man With The Not-Birds had been talking a lot, and the Not-Not-Perches Human had been talking with them.) He had been so worried! Charlie saw him leaning over The Man In Brightly Colored Clothes and squishing their faces together. But then they both acted as if nothing had happened!
Humans were stupid. Especially the Not-Not-Perches human. And The Man With The Not-Birds. Anyone who had them was bound to be stupid. But Charlie was going to do something about it! Yes, he was. He was going to stop them from all being so stupid! He just hadn't figured out how yet. He needed to think about it some more.
He just had to hope that the humans didn't do anything else stupid until he did.
