The golden light from the sunrise caught in Steve’s blonde hair, making it glow and shimmer like liquid gold. He looked like Apollo, Diana thought. The God of the Sun, achingly beautiful...
Her lover turned and smiled at her; the blue of his eyes almost matched by the color of the sky.
Diana rose from their bed, letting the sheets fall around her, saw Steve’s eyes darken as she stepped naked toward him, then tangled her hands in his glowing golden hair and kissed him, feeling him tangle his own hands in her hair, as he returned her embrace, the light of the sunrise all about them.
