Ramblings...

I went back to the hospital today to have my wrist checked up on. The wound is healing fine, but my wrist is verrrry stiff still. So, I have to go for some physiotherapy next Monday, and go back to the hospital in a months time for another check up. I had to have a stitch come out today! Apparently, my wound is healing so well that this stitch was forced to 'pop up'. And it had to be taken out. It was... interesting. The nurse tried to get it out with some tiny scissors, but that didn't work. So she had to get some large (and I mean really large) tweezers and get it out that way. It... hurt! It was not helped by my mum, who was watching, mouthing to me 'There's blood! There's BLOOD!!!!!' I was just trying not to look. But, it's all out now, and the rest of them can go back to dissolving. LOL. Is it strange that as I having it done, I was thinking, 'Wow! This can be used in a fic sometime! Bruce would have to have stitches out...' LOL

I started making the Halloween jewelery this week! It's slow going, as I'm not used to the restrictions that my wrist now has, but I've at least got some done. And I've got another... 2 and half weeks? to get the rest done. Should have plenty of time. :)

Other than that, things are quiet here. But I wish the roadworks that have been outside the house for the past... well, it's got to be 6 weeks, would go away soon. They seem to have just been abandoned... but they left the traffic lights. Which have malfunctioned at least 2 times in those 6 weeks. *sigh*

*cringes* Yeah, that definitely doesn't sound comforting at all, lol ... but at least this mini-ordeal was actually a good sign. *grin* Yay for your wrist healing well! And hopefully the physical therapy helps ease the stiffness some.

Is it strange that as I having it done, I was thinking, 'Wow! This can be used in a fic sometime! Bruce would have to have stitches out...'

Ahhh, I totally would have thought that, too. *high fives* I know so little about hospital and medical procedures except from watching medical dramas, lol; if I ever had an experience like yours, I'd totally be using it for wounded!Bat fic. ^-^ In any case ... can't wait to see if this gets put to use. :D

And yay for Halloween jewelry! And boo for roadwork that never goes away. That kind of reminds me of the cathedral in my neighborhood ... they've had scaffolding around part of it for at least the last five years, but I never see them doing any work on it. *scratches head* I hope your roadwork doesn't stay up that long! ^-^

Yeah, it was a good sign. Apparently. LOL. The physical therapy should hopefully help a lot! :)

*high fives back* Some parts of the whole experience have already made into fic! The fics I wrote while on the drugs are... interesting. LOL

Five years... maybe there's an infestation of Bats? ;) Roadworks for 5 years would be really, really annoying.

LOL at your mom screaming about the blood. Oh parents. They mean well but sometimes it's like, "you're not really helping here". But I'm glad that the wrist is healing up well.

LOL, yeah. I was like 'I know it's bleeding, I can feel it bleeding'. *shakes head* My wrist is healing up slowly but surely! :)
