* For you (the poster):
1. Take three photos of your desk area as it is, do not stop to tidy up. Inclusion of you at desk in the picture is optional.
2. Upload the photos onto imageshack, photobucket, flickr, imagehoop, or a similar site and post them and this text to your journal, with an explanation for anything significantly MISSING, if anything.
* For them (the commentor/friend):
1. Ask a question about what's in any of the pictures and the poster has to answer it, within reason.
2. Do this meme yourself!
My desk is... more tidy than usual, since I only did a massive tidying of my room about a month ago. It will get messier, I'm sure! But, uh, please excuse the dust. I didn't know that was there. LOL.

Date: 2007-08-21 12:22 am (UTC)I also really like Batman and Superman observing your computer. They're there for inspiration, I assume?
Well, I guess I already asked a couple of questions : )
Anyway, I like your workspace a lot!

Date: 2007-08-21 08:06 pm (UTC)Thank you! :) I did paint them both myself. Well, my brother helped with the walls, LOL.

LOL, normally they lie down next to my laptop. Batman can't stand up very well, but he stays standing when he does. Superman, however, falls down after about 45 mins of standing. He must get bored, lol. So... it's a little rare that they stand up. Batman and Superman make daily trips across my room! When I'm using my laptop, they come and keep me company. When I'm not, they lean on my comics, looking after them. :)
I'm glad you like my desk! :D

LOL, the desk is a bit of a long story... I've had this desk for as long as I can remember, and when I was about 10 my brother painted his (virtually identical) desk. I was like 'Well, if he's painted his desk, I want to paint mine!', So I got some paint and just...painted. LOL. So the random patterns mean nothing. Well, maybe they did to my 10 year old mind. (BTW, you can see how messy my desk normally is by what parts are white and what parts have paint on, LOL)
Lava Lamp! I haven't turned it on on years. I should make sure it's still working. :)

Yep! All except the very bottom red one. :) The one with multi-coloured splodges on is my old old notebook, about half needs to be typed up, the black one is for the Gotham fic, the silver one is my old notebook, about 3/4 needs to be typed up, and the green and black one is my new one that's just been started! :) I thought I should start using recycled paper since this is my 4th notebook in about 7 months, LOL.

Do you mean the white things going down the wall? Sorry, I'm a bit dense today, lol. If you do then that's my bookshelves. You can just about see my DVD's on the bottom shelf in the first pic, with some other stuff. :)
Your desk isn't that bad! You should see my workshop bench! LOL

Oh, and are those real flowers or silk flowers in the vase? Are they from somebody? ^-^ And is that Batman on your desktop background? :)

That was a birthday present! I think it came from Tintern, but I'm not sure... it was a long time ago. :) But, wow, you have one that is similar? Creepy... LOL

LOL, those are fake. I don't even think they are silk. All I know is that they are dusty! How do you dust fake flowers? LOL. And, yes, that's Batman on my desktop! :)
