rai_daydreamer who asked for 'Clark/Bruce, blanket'. This has turned out to be weird, Rai, I'm sorry! The muses were being silly. :p Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct!
Clark stared at the blanket, bemused. It was a light blue. That part was fine, he wouldn't have minded that. It was the logo on it that had stunned him into silence.
His and Bruce's symbols, combined together, the 'S' of the House of El nestled in protective bat wings.
Beside him, Bruce made a strangled sound. "I'm going to kill Alfred," he muttered.
Clark blinked. "But... my Ma obviously made it..."
They stared at each other, at the blanket, then at each other again, before sighing simultaneously. Outmaneuvered.

Later, they curl under the blanket as it snows outside, safe in each others arms, their entwined symbols resting over them.

Obviously! :D
Anyway, I think it was a wonderful idea of Martha and Alfred. :)

Date: 2010-01-21 07:23 pm (UTC)It's like the parents have given their blessings on Bruce and Clark's relationship. I think several cultures do this for newlyweds, create blankets or bedclothes for them as a sign of acceptance of the relationship/marriage.
I didn't know that! I'm sure Bruce and Clark have Alfred and Martha's blessings. *pets them*
