Well, I don't think its a ficlet anymore. I was really unhappy with it, and I'm re-writing it, and its turned out longer than I thought. I'm not sure if you'd want it for your birthday as it's... angsty.
Angsty is okay too! :) As long as it's your kind of angst, it's still good, I know.
