12_stories table. Prompt: Stars. Thanks again to

Bruce stepped out of the fortress and into starlight. He looked up at the thousands of stars twinkling in the sky and smiled softly. He breathed in the cold air, then pulled the black blanket that Kal kept in the fortress for him closer.
He gazed up at the stars, feeling their light touching him, and smiled again. The stars were beautiful up here, hundreds of miles away from civilization, a beautiful display for only him to see.
He felt so small, under the blanket of stars; so small and insignificant, just another grain of sand on the seashore. There were hundreds, thousands, millions upon millions of stars above him, stars that he would never know the name of, galaxies of billions more.
Bruce smiled in wonder. The thought was incredibly comforting, somehow.
His smile deepened as he saw bright movement among the darkness; red and blue. His Elokyn floated down from the stars to land gently by his side.
Bruce reached out and caressed his face, saw the stars studding his eyes, and smiled again. His Star Child. His Gift from the Stars.
Bruce Wayne of Earth and Kal-El of Krypton kissed under the glittering night sky.
