Number of murders (witnessed): 0

Number of Escapes from Arkham: 0

Review of Night: Nightwing and Robin report that things are quieter. No doubt no one wants to be around while Joker is on the loose.

Notes: Still hunting for Joker. Dammit, we need to find him soon.

Notes on Team: N/A

Bruce's Notes: This is no time for Clark and everyone else to go into a overprotective drive. I'm fine. I can use a computer, I can help search for him. I can even walk - admittedly only for a short distance - but I can. I know why they're acting like this, it's the same reason I don't want any of them going up against Joker. But I'm used to this, dammit, And I will not stand by and do nothing while he's on the loose. I can't.

Still need to come up with a plan for what to do when we find him. He'll probably go to ground for a few days, but we need to find him before he shows himself, preferably before he finishes his own plans. If he can just see Batman... If the police can just see Batman... But I can't have anyone dress up as me. Clark's the best shot, but Joker will know it's not me. I need to be the one out there. Of course, no one else sees it that way. But I'll find a way. Even if I have to do it by myself, once we find him, I'm going out there, and Batman will be seen by Joker.

Reminder: Need to get present for Dick. Get Alfred and Babs to help?

Oh, Bruce... *sigh*

I was discussing this fic with my hubby last night, and he basically said what your Bruce did - that the Joker would know it's not him, if he sent Clark out in the suit. *shakes head* Of all the things for Joker to be sane about. O_o

*hugs Bruce tight* I hope it doesn't come to him going out there not yet fully healed.

Oooh, my fic gets discussed? Cool. I remember reading a fic a long time ago where Alfred died and Bruce just shut down. Clark eventually discovered what was going on, but by then Joker had escaped Arkham and had taken a building full of children hostage. Clark arranged with Jim - with Jim warning him that it was probably going to go wrong - to go out as Batman, but the Joker was able to tell that he wasn't Batman, and I think he killed at the children. That stuck with me a great deal, that Joker would be able to tell if it wasn't Batman. *shivers a little*

*grins* Finding a present for Dick is important! Bruce strikes me as the kind of person who would want to get presents early, so if anything goes wrong, he's got the present ready! LOL
