Notes on Team: Nightwing continues to cover for me while I can not be on active duty.

Bruce's Notes: Everyone's still fussing over me. And my wounds are starting to hurt. And itch. Damn it. I phoned Arkham today, told them I couldn't come to see Harvey tomorrow, feigning shock when they told me what happened. They won't let me see him for weeks, now. Weeks that I won't be able to reassure him that he didn't kill me. And I can't go and see him as Batman, either. No one will let me down in the cave. And because of Batman's absence from Gotham, and the sudden appearance of Nightwing and Superman taking a more active patrol, he'll know that something is up. Everyone will know that something is up, that something has happened to Batman, and the rumors will start circulating that I've died. Again.

Damn it, I can't do anything. Not even get up and go to the bathroom by myself. I wonder if this is how Babs felt. Feels. I won't be able to walk for at least another week, Leslie and Pieter told me. I plan on starting tomorrow. What they don't know can't hurt them. And finding a way to somehow let Harvey know I'm alive. I can't ask any of the others to tell him, they don't... they don't understand Harvey like I do. They don't know Harvey like I do.

Just as soon as they stop giving me these drugs, I'll start. Surely drugs aren't meant to make you feel sick? Dizzy? They're meant to take the pain away, aren't they? These ones don't seem to be working.

Ouch! Let's hope that Eagle Eye Alfred, Clark, and Dick realize what Bruce is up to.

Funny how alike Clark and Bruce are. Harvey is Bruce's friend from the past whom he can't let go or completely blame, and Lex is Clark's.

Auughh, Harvey! noooo, someone must tell Harvey Bruce is alive and Batman is alive and that all is well-ish in Bat-town! I take it your Harv knows that Bruce is Batman?

And Bruce, man. Feeling useless and feeling sick and the drugs not working... I can so see him being a surly convalescent. Not being able to do anything but *think*, yeaaaahhh... that's not something I wish on anyone, let alone a bat. Bruce's concern for Harv here and his bitterness at not being good enough to even save himself -how is he going to save others if he can't save himself- is totally pushing my buttons. I'm being erratic on my commenting and reading -darn school and work!- but I'm so enjoying your series! thank you for sharing tonight, Star! *glomps*

*giggles* Sorry, but Bat-town just made me giggle a lot! :p I think in this story, Harvey knows (or certainly greatly suspects) that Bruce is Batman, but Two-Face doesn't know.

*huggles Bruce* Bruce is definitely going to annoy (drive to insanity) lots of people as he recovers. *huggles Harvey too* *glomps Mina back* I'm so glad you're enjoying this series! It's lots of woobieness on Bruce's part, with the occasional crazy thing mixed in. So I really worry about people liking it. *huuuugs* Don't worry about being erratic in commenting!! I know how busy you are. :)
