Wednesday 20th February 2008
Number of Crimes Stopped: 6
Number of Murders (witnessed): 1
Number of Escapes from Arkham: 0
Review of Night: Quiet night again. It will probably remain so for a week, as everyone recovers from the events on the 17th February. 1 murder scene investigated, and worked with Robin to find the murderer.
Notes: The quietness is normal after a breakout from Arkham, but disquieting, nonetheless. I can't get rid of the feeling that something is up. Something is brewing. I know Gotham, and I can see the signs. Whatever it is... it's going to be big.
Notes on Team: Robin was back to normal today. He seems to have made up with Superboy. I have Oracle looking for any signs of anything big coming up, but so far she's drawn a blank. Nightwing has returned to New York.
Bruce's Notes: Had a hell of a night. Only managed about 2 hours sleep. Not because of the usual reasons. There was a false intruder alarm, then I couldn't get back to sleep, no matter what Clark did to try and help me. It wasn't helped by the fact that I felt nauseous the rest of the night and into the morning. I don't know what could have caused that. It couldn't have been anything I ate, since Alfred made it all, and as far as I know, I haven't done anything that would merit him poisoning me. Lately. Dick offered the suggestion that I was pregnant. Dick got thrashed on the mats soon afterwards, then fled to New York.
Tim and Kon have made up, much to my relief. Perhaps it's selfish of me, but I didn't really want to have to 'speak' to Kon about it, as it would then get back to Clark, which would lead him to be angry with me. But if it ever comes to it, I'm more than willing to have Clark angry with me if it means Tim's happiness. It seems their argument was about motor racing, of all things. Funny how the smallest things can lead to such huge arguments. But they've made up now, and Tim's smiling again.
Went into work today, but didn't stay long. Alfred said I should stay at home, in case I had a stomach bug or something. Tim teased me about going soft in my old age. Tim is another one who will get beaten on the mats very soon. The depression was eased today, since my birthday is over, though I'm still getting presents from people in the society world. Cass and Tim are having fun opening them. I went to visit my parent's grave this afternoon with Ace, and left them flowers. I walked back home with Clark, who fusses far too much.
I'm off to bed now, hopefully I can sleep better tonight. I have an breakfast appointment, so I need to be up early, but I can always nap in the car on the way into work.

Glad Tim and Kon made up, and aww! at Bruce rather having Clark mad at him that having Tim sad. That makes sense, too, in my head. Sometimes it feels like it's better to make other people's problems yours if by that you can solve them. ..not always a good idea, but it does seem so on occasion!
In my head, it's Bruce wanting Tim to be happy, and he's willing to do whatever he has to for that to happen. *pets him*
