Diana looked over the islands below her. Her home.

The home she could never return to.

She was lucky she could even do this, hover near it and see her mother and sisters.

Diana closed her eyes, blinking away tears that would only have fallen into the salty sea, mingling with the waters of Poseidon.

She felt a soft, loving caress of her mind, and then a gentle hand on her shoulder. Unable to hold back the tears in the face of J'onn's unbarred love, Diana turned, away from her home, and into the arms of her lover.

Ohh, this was wonderful! I'm not that familiar with the toon-verse, but I was vaguely aware of Diana being banished from home in ... some universe, and as everyone else has said, lol, it makes so much sense for her and J'onn to bond over their losses and comfort each other.

Anyway, this was really touching and poignant ... especially the image of Diana hovering so close to home without actually being able to return. *sniff* Great job!
