Drabble: Chocolate Woes

Title: Chocolate Woes

Author's Note: For bradygirl_12's prompt request of Clark/Bruce, Chocolate. A silly little fic! :) Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct!



Bruce glared at Clark. Clark looked back at him, wide eyed behind his glasses. Bruce's glare intensified. Clark flinched slightly. Who knew Bruce could be even more scary as Brucie Wayne than he was as Batman?

"What?" Clark eventually asked, fearful that Bruce might suddenly gain some sort of heat vision. Knowing him, it would be the kind that could hurt him, invulnerable skin or no.

"You," Bruce hissed, "stole my chocolate."

Clark blinked. "Uh..." He thought back over the last few days. "Oh." He abruptly remembered. Justice League Headquarters. A stack of chocolate found only by using his x-ray vision. He had thought at the time it was a stash Flash or J'onn had forgotten about. He should have known that "That was yours? Clark burst out, before he could help himself.

Bruce's glare intensified.

"Oh. Uh... I'm really sorry, Bruce. I thought-"

"No. You didn't."

Clark looked down. Well, all right, no, he hadn't, but could anyone be expected to think when they laid their eyes on that much chocolate? "Um..." Desperate times, desperate measures. "I'll buy you more!" Clark cried, inwardly wincing at how much it would cost. Bruce just continued glaring at him. "With interest?"

"Oh, you'll be doing something with interest. God knows that even you'd need to burn off all that chocolate," Bruce growled, before being swept away in conversation. Clark smiled, somewhat goofily. He should 'accidently' discover Bruce's secret chocolate stash more often.

Eee, this was so cute! A great dessert after the wonderful Harvey/Bruce/Clark angst-fest. *grin*

I love the idea of Justice League members keeping secret stashes of chocolate in the Watchtower. And it's HILARIOUS that Clark would know about them and look for them when he's hungry. Clark WTF? LOL. Way to abuse your powers. :P Although that really is adorable.

Oh god, and Bruce probably had really expensive gourmet chocolate, too, the kind that's like, $30 for four pieces in a box, LOL.
