1. LOL! I love your reasons. And it worked out well!
3. *thumps you gently*
4. *winces* You have touched a sore point with me, the Clark/Dick! I have exactly the same anguished recoiling from it that Lex/Bruce gives me--in both cases it's like having one member of my OTP completely ditch the other-- "Eh, I don't need Clark because who needs simple-minded niceness when you can have sexy double-snarkiness!" or "Eh, who needs Bruce when you can skip the gloomy introvertedness and go for a double helping of sweetness and light!" Those two pairings, of all the pairings in the fandom, tend to give me hives, even (especially!) when done well.
6. What do you have by Kay? With the Fionavar Tapestry you'd want to start with "The Summer Tree" and then to "The Wandering Fire" and "The Darkest Road." The Arthurian stuff doesn't even start to appear until the second book, I don't think, but when it does it's lovely. And I warn you, I've re-read "The Darkest Road" about five times and it makes me cry every time. :) I just read "The Last Light of the Sun" on my trip to Chicago and fell in love with his style all over again. :)
