tmelange's prompt of 'first time meeting and shaking hands'
Summary: Superman is at a boring function when the monotony is broken by strange man.
Kal sighs, bored with the situation. Superman smiles, not letting it show as he shakes hand after hand of wealthy business man and woman.
A throat clears. Standing before him is yet another man, looking at him expectantly. Superman smiles apologetically.
The man smiles slightly, and Kal finds himself smiling for no reason, a true smile, a real smile. The dark haired man's eyes gleam, sapphire blue.
They shake hands, Clark smiling at how at odds the man's limp handshake is with his solid, strong body. His smile widens, and the man's eyes twinkle from the light of a chandelier.
They let go of each others hands, and Superman's smile turns wry.
I'll keep your secret.
The man inclines his head, before moving away.
Superman goes back to shaking hands.
