"Clark. What are we doing out here?"
Clark paused, and looked at his lover. He almost melted into the darkness, wearing only black. His eyes gleamed in the light from the stars above them. He looked beautiful. "We're here because there's something I want you to see."
Bruce huffed. "And what exactly is it? There's nothing here Clark! I don't see why I had to take a night off because of this."
Clark just grinned again, and caught one of Bruce's hands in his own. "Come on, we're almost there."
Bruce grumbled a bit, but allowed himself to be pulled along.
"Here we are!" Clark said, cheerfully. He could feel Bruce's glare.
"There's nothing here, Clark."
Clark reached forward, and pressed a finger to Bruce's lips. "Shh. Be patient. You'll see." Unable to resist, he let his finger caress Bruce's mouth. Bruce sighed. Clark pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, that Bruce slowly responded to. They gradually broke apart, and Clark caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye.
"Look." The sky was full of meteors. He heard Bruce gasp softly. "This is what I wanted you to see. The meteor shower."
Bruce turned to look at him. He was smiling gently. Clark smiled back. Together, they watched the meteor's dance across the sky.
