Drabble: Winter Night and Sunlit Spring

He was in his apartment, in mid-town Gotham, after just arriving back from a party. Gotham was glittering below him like millions of fallen stars, and he was admiring the view.

The next moment, one of the windows was open and Superman was hovering before him, looking somewhat anxious.

Bruce started, was about to ask what was wrong... And then Superman moved, had one hand on his tie, the other curled in his waistcoat, and he kissed him, and the world whirled around them both.

Bright morning sunshine blazed around the apartment. Bruce was dressed in his suit again. Kal was dressed in Superman’s costume, and was smiling.

Bruce found himself smiling back, as he sat upon the rumpled bed, and started to put his cuff-links on. But Kal stopped him with a smile, and put them on for him, a little frown of concentration on his face as he did so. Then he smiled at him again, and kissed him once more, one hand on his tie, the other curled in his waistcoat, like before.

But this time Bruce kissed him back, not wanting to waste another kiss from him.

Very slowly, Kal broke away, then smiled at him. “I’ll see you later.” It was both a question and a promise.

Bruce stood, wrapped his hands in Kal’s hair, so dark it seemed to glow blue, and kissed him again, making into a promise they could both keep.

YAY, I saw rai_daydreamer 's artwork and I loved it. And you wrote the story about Kal kissing Bruce on the pictures excellently!
