I think the two of you are getting hit the worst on my flist, because it seems that the attacks are coming from Russia, so they tend to be closer to the same time zone as Europe? That's my guess, at least. I can usually get access in my morning (when it's early morning in Europe), but in the evening it tends to go down again. :(
I hadn't heard anything at all about it coming from Russia, but that would explain it, I guess... When I could get it to work I could always see lots of posts from people in America...
I hope it does stop soon - It seems to be working at the moment (for the first time since Sunday night I can see my background again and not just white pages of text! Oh, pretty background I've missed you so much!) and I really hope it continues to work. I need LJ to work! *clings*
