It had taken him a long time to get to this moment. All his years of training, of preparation, of practice... Throughout them all he had felt only half awake, almost as if he was in a daze. He had thought that it was because he was away from Gotham. And it had helped, so much, to be back in her embrace again.

But then... A flying man in red and blue. The world watched, stunned, and Bruce felt everything click into place. Knew that this was the last piece of the puzzle he had been searching for.

Of course, that didn't make things easy. Knowing and acting on something were two different things. And Clark was... Clark. They were best friends one moment, worst enemies the next.

But now, as Superman pulls him out of the water, fear in his face and eyes, Bruce finally makes his decision. He wants to live.

I loved to see the words „man in red and blue“ there. (I knew Bruce would be safe now.)

And Clark was... Clark.
Yay! That was nice. :)

But now, as Superman pulls him out of the water, fear in his face and eyes, Bruce finally makes his decision. He wants to live.
AWWWW – Perfect!
„fear in his face and eyes“ – yes, I think it was exactly what Bruce saw in that moment. And that sure helped to make his decision.

I loved this story! That was so wonderfully written! Thank you so much for sharing!

I really love describing Clark as a 'man in red and blue', I don't know why!

Seeing how effected Clark was when he had to pull him out of the water really made up Bruce's mind, at last! Life is too short to not give in to those chances.

Thank you for your lovely comment! It made my day, and I'm so glad you liked this! :)
