1. I spent way, way, way too much on comics last month. *winces*

2. I'm going to Badminton Horse Trails tomorrow! It's cross country day. Lots of walking! Lots of people! Lots of horses! LOL, it's tradition with my Dad - I think we've been going for the last 9 years! Wow. Doesn't seem like that long.

3. I'm completely, utterly, lazy. :p

4. I think I'm the only Star Trek fan who is indifferent to the new Star Trek film! I mean, it would be good if it did well... I'm afraid I don't really care otherwise. *frowns* *pokes self*

5. I've never read a comic written by Frank Miller!

6. I really need to watch LotR again soon. I don't think I've watched it in... nearly 2 years?!?! *looks at self in horror*

7. I really love my new shampoo! Mmm. :)

8. Of all the books I've read most recently, Good Omens is my favorite. *squees* *hearts it*

I never read a comic by Miller, and I never intend to! I've seen scenes and just roll my eyes. :)

I somewhat share your feelings about the new Trek movie. I fear I'll be disappointed when I see it, because nothing will compare to the original for me. I'll probably like at least some of it, but I'm not dying to go see it. I will go next week so I won't have to keep avoiding spoilers, but it's not like last year when I couldn't wait for The Dark Knight. :)

I'm not sure if they'll try to suppress any K/S hints in this new film (there's talk of a LOT of het) and I'm not sure if there will be any chemistry, but I'll see next week! :)

Yay for being Miller-free! :p

I haven't even heard anything about the Trek film! Does it even come out the same time in the UK? I have no idea, lol. I don't know if I'll go and see it or not - to be honest, I'm a The Next Generation fan rather than The Original Series, but Kirk and Spock and everyone else are just such icons that I'm very wary of other actors playing them, not matter how talented they are.

I hope you enjoy it, anyway! :)

I've no interest in the new franchise for Star Trek, to be honest. I miss Roddenberry's version.

So do I! I almost think that Trek should be put to rest for good. I don't think it's ever going to be like it was again. :(

*grins* I'll see if I can link to it, rather than describe it myself! Let's see... Shampoo (http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/product.aspx?ParentCatCode=C_Hair&CatCode=C_Hair_Fine&prdcode=34888m)!

I haven't been horse riding a in a long time! I've been so busy and lazy and... it's kinda difficult to find somewhere that will just let you ride around and not do lessons... *sighs a bit* Hopefully I'll find somewhere that's okay. :)

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] mithen about #7! We must know what kind of shampoo it is!

Yay! *hugs*

The Body Shop! I love the Body Shop, but I have a hard time finding them in the States. There was one in Columbus, but it closed several years ago :(

When I went to Great Britain (this was about 10 years ago-oh God I'm old), I was thrilled to see Body Shops all over the place!

Anyway, you have awesome taste in shampoo!

Oh noes! What is it with Body Shops closing around people? :(

I'm... not sure if I should say this, but there are 3 in my local area! They really are all over the place here. And you're not old! Because then I'd have to be old. :p

I'm glad you approve of the shampoo! :)

I can totally understand spending too much on comics -- I do that too. And action figures, and posters, and movies and... yeah, you get the point, huh? ;)

About Star Trek -- I wasn't all that excited about it - I wanted to see it because it was ST, and because they had Zachary Quinto as Spock, which I thought was cool, but I can't say I've been going crazy waiting for this to open in theaters, *at all*. Until I sat there on Saturday night and the movie started and... OMG. I need to see this one again, it was loads better than I expected it to be. :)

Why are they so addictive?!? *whines and looks at empty bank accounts*

I'm not sure about the film! I think the main part of that is because I'm really a Next Gen fan, but... I don't know. If I have time, maybe I'll go see it. I'm glad you liked it, though! :)

Of all the series, Next Gen is my fav one. However, I grew up on reruns of the original series, and had the biggest crush ever on Spock for years... lol! Either way, if you like sci-fi movies at all (and I've got a feeling you do *lol*), I think you're likely to enjoy this one - it's really well made, and the actors/characters in this are just awesome. :)

Good Omens! heeee! so much fun! I see you have been devouring the Pratchett! isn't he fun??

I have been feeling the urge to watch LOTR too! I haven't watched it in forever, either, and I feel like I'm failing, lol. Bad, bad acolyte!

I hope you had fun at the Badminton Horse Trails! it sounds so cool! I thought of you while I was visiting my brother, I saw a lot of horses in the fair. So hugeee! so pretty! horsieeesss!

*grins* Since my brother moved out (did I tell you about that? I can't remember...) I've been reading lots of his books he's left behind! He's a massive Terry Pratchett fan, lol.

I can't believe it's been so long since I last watched it! It's just they're so long, you need to have several hours free, lol!

Horses, yay! I did have a lot of fun, but my feet hated me later. :p It was a really good day. :) Horses are so pretty! *sighs wistfully*

I didn't know your brother moved out! where did he move to? It's always a bit hard, not having them around.. or at least that's how I felt about my oldest brother moving (I too have been devouring his books, lol) and it's been almost a year since he left! wow... I hope you can still see him often enough, or keep in contact with him otherwise. Brothers are awesome :)

He's not gone far - only a few miles to be a little closer to work. He comes over every week, because he still helps my a lot with my business, and we chat nearly every night on IM. I'm talking to him right now, actually! :p

It was really weird for the first few weeks, just... the absence of him not being there... Yay for having good brothers! And Yay for brothers who leave lots of good books behind, lol!
