I'm behind on flist. I promise to catch up later this evening. I also promise to reply to comments then too. And, maybe, start typing up the next chapter in the Gotham fic.

I'm back again, and I'm feeling much better! I don't know what made me feel like that... maybe I was just having a dark day.

I burnt my finger a bit while I was cooking today. It isn't too painful, but it's right over one of the joins, so it's being stretched a bit. Since it it also my writing hand, and it's my forefinger, I'll have to see if I will be able do any writing over the weekend. :(

Speaking of writing I have started writing a fic... and it's a bit strange. Just a little. You see, it's from Gotham's point of view. Yes. I am writing a story from a fictional citys point of view. I promise, I'm only a little bit strange. LOL.

Anyway, the main reason of this post! Over the next few days I'm (hopefully) going to be catching up with flist again, so you can expect comments from me!

I look out over Gotham. My City, My Mistress, My Life.

She takes so much from me, and yet...she gives so much back.

She gives me a purpose, a meaning to my life, and though she is demanding, I love her with everything I am.

I know that others don't understand. All they can see is the pain and suffering that is endured by us here, but they don’t have the same connection to her as I do that allows me to see the hope.

So much hope my city and her people have.

And she is all mine, and no others.

I would have it no other way.
