Wow, I had NO IDEA this was almost 6,000 words when I looked at it first, because it was so much fun to read!
I know! I knew it was long, but it wasn't until I typed it up I realized how long... Chatty Harvey's fault! :p
Poor Bruce is so sick and struggling here, and I just love the way Harvey tries to protect him. His impulses are both charitable and...not so charitable, more selfish, as is perfect for his character.
Bruce being sick really surprised me! *pets him* I think, if he could, Harvey would just lock Bruce in a room full of books (with Alfred!) so nothing could even hurt Bruce again, so that he could look after him, make sure nothing happens to him...
And the way Clark and Bruce hit it off and leave Pete and Harvey on the outside looking in...I feel bad for them but at the same time I just love seeing Clark and Bruce making their own little world together so much.
I know! I said I kinda wanted to hit Bruce and Clark, but I'm so happy for them too. They''re making their own little world for themselves and their going to change the world and make it a better place... *pets them*
