I loved the paragraph where you were introducing them all at the breakfast table. This should lead to some interesting dynamics with Bruce and them being on equal footing.
It was very strange to write them as brother and sisters! *pets them* But Bruce is still very much their leader, lol. *pets him*
And I really like the touch of having only Bruce's mother be dead, while his father is alive (but hardened). I assume this is to get it to fit more with the fairytale(?) but it's a really cool twist to the usual dead parents scenario.
LOL, yes it's to fit in better with the fairytale! I realized when I was writing it that I've never written Thomas before. I know that is something lots of people can say, but still. He's a lot harsher here, I think, than I would write in a... more canon story? LOL. But he has a lot of children and I'm sure they all drove him mad. :P
