The everything and nothing bit was such a great way of showing how close to each other they are. And this was beautiful, too:
And Kal looked... awe-inspiring as the rising sun seemed to lovingly caress his form as if they were long parted lovers who had dreamt of doing so for many, many long nights.
Mmmm ... Kal/Sun = OTP!
And your descriptions were so vivid ... I could really feel the sunlight and the cool morning air. And towards the end, Kal just seemed to become the sun, and Batman kissing the sun and ... eeee, so beautiful!
