Since today is my day off from work, I spent some very enjoyable time (re-)reading your Bruce/Clark fics. Taro_twist beat me to citing my favourite story (I love Alan Scott´s appearances in your fics, he seems like a kind and wise guardian angel to me.
So I settle for another fic : "The Runaway" "He didn't want Clark to be one of those wounds. He was the only friend he had. And he was lonely. He just wanted someone to talk to, and Clark was the only one who could understand him. He didn't want the fight to have ruined that. He couldn't let it ruin it. Clark reminded him that it was okay to feel, and to be scared of feeling, because everyone was. Clark hadn’t looked down on him when he showed him his real face, he had just smiled a wonderful smile, like he liked Bruce. He couldn't remember the last time someone had just liked him for him, not the money and family name. But Clark had. And that was so precious to him."
There are of course so many other stories I like, the drabbles especially are often sparkling little gemstones - how fitting for a jeweller! ;)
Apart from that I apologize once more for hardly ever commenting. I noticed that I hadn´t done so even on the ones I consider my favourites, like the Valentine´s Day fic, when I was perusing the fics you posted since last December, when I first came here. I promise to do better in the future!
