bradygirl_12. I've had to change one or two things to make it work with me, though! ;)
1. What is about my writing that pleases/interests/delights you and gets you all excited when you see a starsandsea fic pop up on your f-list? ;) What stands out the most when you read a story of mine?
2. Disregarding what I write for a moment, who are your favorite pairings in general?
3. Of the pairings I write, which ones do you enjoy reading the most? Which is your favorite? What is it about them that you like when you read a story of mine featuring them (can discuss more than one pairing)?
4. Have you become interested in a pairing you have never read before or had no inclination previously to read because I have written them? Why?
5. What genre(s) do you enjoy most that I’ve written? Any genres you would like to see more of from me?
6. Do you like short pieces or long stories? Do you enjoy series? Do you like all kinds of, ahem, length? ;)
7. Okay, this is tricky. My Muses either ‘get’ a couple for me to write or not, but sometimes trying out the new helps me get it together. Any pairings/threesomes or more you would like to see me write that I never have before, or have only mentioned in passing? Pairings current or past?
8. Most of my readers like slash, reading and/or writing it. Do you also read het and gen? Perhaps not as much but willing to do so by any writer you like?
9. Slash couples are the majority on my f-list. My curiosity is aflame, however: any het couples who are your little secrets that you like?
10. What are your favorite stories written by me? Why? (I have them all listed in the Links List on my LJ!) J
11. Again, Muses are stubborn sometimes, but are there any series you would like to see continued or any stories that would merit a sequel? I can’t guarantee anything would come of this, but it sure helps me know which way the winds are blowing out there! J

Date: 2008-02-11 03:06 am (UTC)Hmm, I think that your writing evokes a special sense of time and place for me, Star. You create moods very well.
2. Disregarding what I write for a moment, who are your favorite pairings in general?
Clark/Bruce, Bruce/Dick, Clark/Dick, all three together ;), Dick/Roy, Steve/Diana, Apollo/Starbuck.
3. Of the pairings I write, which ones do you enjoy reading the most? Which is your favorite? What is it about them that you like when you read a story of mine featuring them (can discuss more than one pairing)?
I think you do a wonderful job with Clark/Bruce. You give them such passion and sweetness while keeping them in-character.
4. Have you become interested in a pairing you have never read before or had no inclination previously to read because I have written them? Why?
Michael/Pieter. I never knew much about them and still don't except for your fics. :)
5. What genre(s) do you enjoy most that I’ve written? Any genres you would like to see more of from me?
I love your fairytales and hope you write more! :)
6. Do you like short pieces or long stories? Do you enjoy series? Do you like all kinds of, ahem, length? ;)
All kinds! :)
7. Okay, this is tricky. My Muses either ‘get’ a couple for me to write or not, but sometimes trying out the new helps me get it together. Any pairings/threesomes or more you would like to see me write that I never have before, or have only mentioned in passing? Pairings current or past?
Ha, easy one! More Steve/Diana when you get a Wonderbunny! ;)
Also, I love your family-themed fics, especially Wee!Dick. ;)
8. Most of my readers like slash, reading and/or writing it. Do you also read het and gen? Perhaps not as much but willing to do so by any writer you like?
I do read het and gen, though slash is more often.
9. Slash couples are the majority on my f-list. My curiosity is aflame, however: any het couples who are your little secrets that you like?
Green Eyes has me interested in Cass/Jason. I also would love to see you try Selina/Bruce because they have real sexual chemistry.
10. What are your favorite stories written by me? Why? (I have them all listed in the Links List on my LJ!) :)
Ah, the Sleeping Beauty tale is a definite favorite, and so is the Beauty and the Beast spin-off. Also your Steve/Diana. ;)
11. Again, Muses are stubborn sometimes, but are there any series you would like to see continued or any stories that would merit a sequel? I can’t guarantee anything would come of this, but it sure helps me know which way the winds are blowing out there! :)
I'd like to see you write Hourman II/Liberty Belle II, and more Steve/Diana! :)

Date: 2008-02-11 05:28 am (UTC)2. Well, Blark, of course, Bruce/J'onn, Bruce/Arthur... uh, I like whoring Bruce around, so as long as they aren't the Robin's age (or the Robins) I will be interested!
3. Well, I enjoy all of them, really! I love your Bruce/Clark because you make them really warm and play them like equals, not broken but not godlike either. And I love your Terrific/Midnight! they are just adorable and so very tragic and woobie, and they deserve all the love you give them.
4.Uh, well. I was already inclined to the pairings you write! But I was very impressed with your Nightwing/Legolas.
5. H/C H/C!! ;)
6. I enjoy them all, really. I like long stories and short stories and series.. it's about what a story needs to work, really.
7. Well, I would love to see some more Michael/Bruce... and any pairing with Tim, really (as long as it isn't something like.. Bruce/Tim or Clark/Tim 'cause I might dieeeeee).
8. I definitely also read het and gen, and love reading stories by my favorite writers in those genres.
9. Bruce/Selina OTP. Seriously, seriously big BatxCat fan. I love Blark with all my heart, but if comics could ever give me something I really, really wanted in canon, it should be Clois status BatxCat. SERIOUSLY, GIVE IT TO ME! Selina <3 <3 Also, Clark/Diana and J'onn/Diana. And Arthur/Diana. Ohhh, yeah. I do like het, it's just that the stories.. tend to be... hrmp. More conventional in their dynamics, or the boys as sex-toys, and bleh. Oh, also Scott/Barda!! totally awesome.
10. I'm very very fond of the deaf-verse :)
11. Deaf-verse and Gotham-verse, of course! I would like to see all your series continued, lol.

Date: 2008-02-13 02:29 pm (UTC)Too much to list? :) Delicate psychological portraits and beautiful moments, would I suppose be my snap answer....
2. Disregarding what I write for a moment, who are your favorite pairings in general?
In DCU...um, S/B, Dick/Tim, Bruce/Selina, Tim/Steph, Steph/Cass...but really the gap between my enthusiasm for the first and my enthusiasm for all the others is near-infinite. :)
3. Of the pairings I write, which ones do you enjoy reading the most? Which is your favorite? What is it about them that you like when you read a story of mine featuring them (can discuss more than one pairing)?
S/B, of course! :) Largely for the insights into the psyches of both of them, especially Bruce. And the Michael/Pieter for the sadness and wistfulness of it, laced with happiness.
4. Have you become interested in a pairing you have never read before or had no inclination previously to read because I have written them? Why?
I suppose Michael/Pieter because I'd never seen it before and you do it so nicely.
5. What genre(s) do you enjoy most that I’ve written? Any genres you would like to see more of from me?
I love everything you write. :) Angst isn't one of my favorite genres but I like the way you write it...
6. Do you like short pieces or long stories? Do you enjoy series? Do you like all kinds of, ahem, length? ;)
I like anything. Short and long stories serve different purposes and different moods--it would be like preferring sonnets to haiku because there are more words in the former to say longer is better.
7. Okay, this is tricky. My Muses either ‘get’ a couple for me to write or not, but sometimes trying out the new helps me get it together. Any pairings/threesomes or more you would like to see me write that I never have before, or have only mentioned in passing? Pairings current or past?
I'm quite happy with what you write. I think you could probably write a good Tim/Kon or Dick/Tim, maybe? But I like the way you have things now, pretty much. :)
8. Most of my readers like slash, reading and/or writing it. Do you also read het and gen? Perhaps not as much but willing to do so by any writer you like?
I like anything as long as it's good and a pairing I like.
9. Slash couples are the majority on my f-list. My curiosity is aflame, however: any het couples who are your little secrets that you like?
No secrets, since I like het just as much as slash: Bruce/Selina, Clois if I'm in the right mood, Tim/Steph, Dick/Kory, Barbara/Ted Kord, Steve/Diana are all pairings I like at times.
10. What are your favorite stories written by me? Why? (I have them all listed in the Links List on my LJ!)
I'll always remember the Storm ficlets. *sighs happily*
I really, really loved the Beauty and the Beast retelling somehow.
The story with Bruce drowning...I'm not sure if it's "favorite" but I know it made an indelible, haunting impression on me.
And anything with Charlie. :)
11. Again, Muses are stubborn sometimes, but are there any series you would like to see continued or any stories that would merit a sequel? I can’t guarantee anything would come of this, but it sure helps me know which way the winds are blowing out there!
The blinded Bruce (edit: that should be Deaf, of course!)series continues to pique my interest. :) Other than that, wherever your muses take you is a good place for me, since I love your writing. :)
