Diana nodded at J’onn, smiled as they passed, exchanged equally amused glances.
‘They’ were arguing again.
‘They’, Diana thought fondly, were utter fools, should simply go to bed together. This life of theirs was dangerous; already she had seen Bruce bleed too many times. When would he and Clark see it was better to seize what time they had, than to argue over trivialities, fueled by their worry and love for one another they did not admit to.
J’onn gave her a wry look now and Diana placed a hand on his arm, smiled, J’onn’s strange eyes lighting with affection as he smiled in return.
