Title: Coffee Shop Break
Rating: PG
Characters: Diana, Bruce, Clark
Word Count: 140
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Diana smiled as the waitress left. Bruce looked bored and Clark looked... entirely unlike a being with enough strength to single handedly destroy the world. Her smiled widened and Bruce looked at her, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face, before it smoothed to the appreciative smile that Bruce Wayne would wear, when looking a beautiful woman.
Of course, they had dragged the Bat out of his cave and into the sunlight. And then they didn't even have the decency to give him sunglasses.
Clark though was glowing, if you knew how to look, beneath the crumpled suits, the coffee and ink stains, the glasses obscuring his eyes. His smile was genuine, not Superman's or the reporters, but Clark's.
Diana smiled at them both, and saw, just for an instant, a true smile cross Bruce's face as well.
