Bruce's Notes: My depression has lifted somewhat today. It's impossible to maintain gloomy thoughts while on a Caribbean island with Clark. It's nice to be away from the manor, and even - dare I say it? - out in the sun for a change. We left late last night, and I'm currently lying on a beach, watching the sun go down, Clark by my side. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.
My thoughts are all over the place - a combination of Clark's unlimited company and just being able to relax for a change. I don't need to worry about Gotham here. There's no way I can help from here - I think Alfred made Clark take away all the radios and televisions, even the phones. The only thing left is my laptop, and I'm only allowed to use it to write in my diary. I would be angry at any other time, but... I don't want to waste this time with anger. Besides, this is meant to be my way of saying thank you to Clark. I'm not going to ruin that.
Speaking of that, I'd better stop writing this, and go give Clark some attention. It's very nice to have your own private island where there can be no risk of people stumbling over you. And no risk from all the paparazzi, too.
Reminder: Need to get some chocolate sauce.
