Somehow I really loved the moment when Bruce first comes across Clark--and I liked the way you cut away from when Clark reveals his powers and leave it up to our imaginations, that works really well here. And I love the theme of Bruce helping Clark to control his powers as they slowly fall in love!
But not before they had spoken of many things, finally voiced the longing and desire that been evident in their gazes for so long. Voiced the love that had been present since they had met, and all truths were finally revealed under a starry sky.
Oh, that's a wonderful turn of phrase, I loved it. This whole story just made me smile--Bruce's intuitive understanding of the land and its cues, his line about how people are often scared of the unknown but the animals know better, the two of them fighting side by side at the end--it's all great. Thank you!
