I liked the detail of Bruce noticing that the animals hadn't fled, and that peace seemed to hang over the forest. I love how the boys were attracted to each other and spent the winter together and finally proclaimed their love, and how they lived happily ever after as Prince and Knight. :)
The ending didn't feel rushed to me at all. Good job! :)
