rai_daydreamer! Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct! :)
Bruce ran his hands though Clark's wings, the pure white feathers seeming to glow. He caught a glimpse of his own black wings and remembered, a little wistfully, when they had been as bright and pure as Clark's.
But he had made his sacrifice willingly, and would do so again, if needed.
Clark smiled at him, eyes brilliant and blue and never ending, full of love... Bruce wasn't sure what he had done to deserve such love, to be constantly gifted with it... But it wasn't his place to question it.
Clark wrapped his wings around him, running his hands over his face, through his hair and Bruce closed his eyes in bliss. After being away so long, on such evil missions, surrounded only by darkness and despair, when it seemed so hard to hold onto hope...
All he had to do was think of Clark, and he knew he would never be defeated.
