Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

I was given:

Dr. Mid-Nite:

I'm not sure what made me fall in love with Pieter. It's probably because, out of all of the members of the JSA, he's the one most like me. I really liked the idea that the JSA had their own doctor - it seems like such a sensible thing, lol!

Another aspect of my interest in Pieter is because he's blind. So he can see the world in a totally different way to everyone else. His compassion, his quiet confidence... You know that if he were your doctor, he would really care about you, and do everything possible to get you better.

I also love how his faith is shown. Again, it's quiet, he isn't likely to say 'I'll pray for you' or anything like that, and it plays so beautifully against Michael being an atheist. And I love how Pieter is more than his JSA teammates sometimes give him credit for! I mean, it's not until relatively late into the 90's run that it's revealed that Pieter has a vast network of people working for him in his hometown of Portsmouth. Indeed, it's after this that Michael, who was chairman of the JSA at the time, states that if he ever wanted to step down, then Pieter would be the person he would suggest to become the new leader.

Anther thing I love about Pieter is that he's not American. He's Americanized, yes, but he's really Norwegian. I just really like that he's different in that way too. And all of the tragedy that's touched his life... *huggles him*

I just really love Pieter! :D

Charlie:

Charlie is, as anyone sensible knows, the most amazing and awesome member of the JSA. LOL, I just love Charlie!! *squees* He's so cute, perched on Pieter's shoulder, or just generally around. Indeed, Charlie is what, I think, first truly drew my attention to Pieter! I loved that he had this owl who went everywhere with him. It was so cool.

And, Charlie is, of course, the reason Pieter became Dr. Mid-Nite, discovered he could see again. So, yes, Charlie is easily the most awesome member of the JSA. *hearts him* :D

Jewellery:

Jewellery, or Jewelry, LOL. What can I say? I certainly never expected to be making it. I really just fell into it, but I think it's... me. I love being able to turn a blank piece of metal into something that's hopefully pretty and beautiful. All the lovely colors of beads, how they can be combined together in so many different ways... Well, I like sparkly, pretty things! :p

So, I can indulge myself a lot, and just have lots of fun playing about pretty things. And, hopefully, people will like them enough to buy them! ;)

Drabbles:

Heh... you know... I'm really not a drabbely kind of person. I'm very likely to skip over a drabble if I see one posted somewhere, because... how could someone possibly tell a story in 100 words? Even it's more like 150, that's still hardly any... And, yet, it's my natural writing length! The end of the story just comes almost without me knowing it, and it wouldn't feel right, trying to make it longer. So, it takes me a long time to write a 'long' story. I can write 1000 words, but anything over 3000? That's going to be a long fic to me, and anything I write that ends up over 10000? Well, that's just insanely long, lol.

So, yes, I am a hypocrite! I write drabbles, yet I hardly ever read other peoples, because I don't believe anyone could write a story with such a small amount of words. Yes... *sighs* I'm clearly not right in the head! :P

Fairy Tales:

Ah, fairy tales. The romantic in me just melts at them. I can't put it into words, really, but I just... love them! That things will be okay, they'll work out, there will be a happy ending... It just turns me into a pile of goo! LOL.

I'm not doing very well at all in talking about them, but I guess I love the variety. How there's no real definitive version of them (I'm thinking of the Grimm ones, mainly here) how they're all not the true one, yet they're all the right ones. I mean, I have versions I prefer - for instance, my favorite version of Beauty and the Beast is the one by Disney - but it's so interesting seeing other versions, across different cultures.

So... I'm not sure what I'm trying to say, or if any of this is making any sense, but... I just really like them, and my inner child and romantic melts at any mention of them. :)
