Wow... that was truly, truly spectacular. Truly incredible. And her dress...! Absolutely perfect.

And I feel a bit a ridiculous for tearing up a bit, but it was all just so wonderful and beautiful.

Well, it might be a long time, I'm afraid! I've got lots of fic ideas at the moment but no time to write them... But I couldn't let a big royal wedding pass without taking notes, at least! :P

It put a lump in my throat too! It is a rare joy to see two people so in love, and we all want that feeling so much. I think the commitment of marriage is so important beyond all of the pomp... I wish them all the best. It was a happy day!

It was a beautiful, moving, and very intimate wedding service - they kept saying it would be, but I was surprised at just how much it was. It was very much two people in love making a formal commitment in front of their friends and family. It was wonderful! :)

I only caught the very end, but I agree, it was really nice! I'm so glad it looks like they waited until they were really sure and didn't rush into it--the whole thing, like you said, felt very adult and personal and not too glamorous or overdone at all. It made me happy!

I think they've known each other for about 10 years, and have dated for 8 or 9 of those years, apart from a brief time when they broke up, so I really do think it will work. I hope so! It made me very happy too. :)
