Days went by. Bruce grew stronger, but was still weak from his ordeal. He was currently out of bed and sitting on the sofa before the fireplace, listening to the heavy rain fall, a red blanket wrapped about him. The Prince still hadn't sold him, which confused Bruce, but he wasn't complaining. Any time he had with his master was precious.
He still didn't have his slave manacles back. Apparently, they had been taken by Luthor, and no one could find them. He had asked Diana if replacements were being made, but she had just looked at him for a long time before telling him to talk to the Prince.
Bruce drew the blanket closer. He knew what that meant. His master was going to sell him. The door opened. Bruce got up as it closed. His master. He swallowed. His master looked at him before walking over and reaching out to caress his face.
"How are you feeling? Better?"
Bruce knew what he was asking. 'Do you feel good enough to be sold yet?' He bowed his head. "I am feeling much better, Master, thank you."
His master sat down on the sofa, beckoning Bruce to join him. The Prince must be getting very bored, Bruce thought as he joined him. He hadn't done his duty as his bed slave for nearly 3 weeks now. Of course his master would replace him with someone who could do their duty properly, and far more skillfully than he ever could. He was surprised he had waited this long to get rid of him.
"Master?" He had to know. He couldn't carry on with all this uncertainty hanging over him.
"Hmm?"
"When-" Bruce stopped and gathered up his courage. "When are you going to sell me?" The words came out in a rush, but at least they were out now.
His master pulled away from him. "What?" He said, incredulously. Bruce looked down, away from his face. "Bruce. I am not going to sell you."
Bruce looked up at him, shocked. "But-"
"But nothing. I'm not going to sell you Bruce. Rao, I... I love you." His master's voice was loud at first, but then quieted until his confession came out in just a whisper.
Bruce looked at him, unblinking. This was impossible, his master couldn't, he couldn't, it was crazy, his master didn't love him...
"Bruce... I'm sorry. But I couldn't keep it inside anymore. I love you." As his master repeated the words, his voice became soft, amazed almost.
"Master..." Fingers were placed over his mouth.
"Kal. Please... call me Kal."
Bruce laughed in disbelief. "Kal... I..." Did he dare? "I love you." he whispered. He glanced up to see his face, watching joy spread across it.
"My Bruce. My Bruce..." He was caught in his arms, his mast... Kal laughing happily. Bruce joined in. This was impossible, it couldn't be happening, it couldn't... Kal kissed him deeply, lovingly. Bruce kissed him back.

I liked the way you showed Bruce's uncertainty here, and his conviction that he would be sold, but Kal fixed it by declaring his love! :)
