Wow, I had NO IDEA this was almost 6,000 words when I looked at it first, because it was so much fun to read! Poor Bruce is so sick and struggling here, and I just love the way Harvey tries to protect him. His impulses are both charitable and...not so charitable, more selfish, as is perfect for his character. And the way Clark and Bruce hit it off and leave Pete and Harvey on the outside looking in...I feel bad for them but at the same time I just love seeing Clark and Bruce making their own little world together so much.
