I didn't see him ending things in this story, definitely. Sure, he'd push Clark away, but he wouldn't break up with him. That's why it hurt him so much. *huggles him* But, yeah, that's how I see Bruce most of the time - he'll push people away, but he won't break up with them. They mean too much to him for him to be able to do that. :)
