rai_daydreamer! :D Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct.
Clark gazed at his dark winged lover, wondering what he was up to. They had come to know each other better than anyone - indeed, he thought, a lot of it was instinctive, furthering his thoughts that, no matter what well-intentioned people thought, Bruce was the only one for him.
But lately his lover had been acting... distracted. He didn't think he was hiding things, exactly, from him, though of course Clark knew there were things his lover didn't share with him; the everyday stress of pretending to be one of the Dark One's agents, things that Bruce had just got used to, thoughts and feelings and pain and guilt.
He viewed it as one of his tasks to try and take that pain away from his love.
Clark's thoughts were broken by the sound of his lover's voice calling his name. He looked at him again, to see Bruce smiling... anxiously, he would have said, if it had been anyone else.
"Yes, my love?"
Bruce smiled again, less anxious this time, and Clark knew a smile was upon his own face at the sight. Bruce shifted slightly, and Clark realized that his gleaming dark wings were spread out fully, like Bruce was preparing to fly, or... like he was hiding something behind them.
"I..." He watched as Bruce closed his eyes, then took a deep breath, before opening his eyes again. He drew out a bouquet of brightly colored flowers, reds and blues and yellows, shining against his dark wing feathers. Clark made a sound of delight at the sight of them.
"I love you." Bruce's voice was quiet, but Clark could hear clearly the words he had so longed to hear, echoing around his mind. He couldn't see Bruce, because his vision had suddenly become blurry. But he could see well enough to step forward and engulf Bruce with his arms and wings, white and black feathers mingling.
"I love you too, Bruce." Bruce kissed him, pressing the flowers into his hand. They fell, as Bruce and Clark floated gently down, to create a colorful carpet around them as they made love.

Honestly, I wanted to read your story of Clark and Bruce as angels. So I couldn't cut "wings" off from my request. And... WEE! You wrote both prompt in one story!
*grins* When I saw the wings prompt I knew the rest of the prompt would work so well in this universe... :)
Yess, yeeeeesss, and you are the only one for Bruce, you know it, Clark? *grins happily*
*grins with you* Of course he knows it! :D
I'm really happy you liked how Bruce told Clark he loved him! *pets Bruce and Clark* They were both being very adorable. ;)
Oh, and can I draw something from this? I would like to draw one if it's okay. *^-^*
That would make me happy beyond words! :D
*hugs* Thank you for your wonderful comment, Rai! :D It utterly made my day.
