Diana looked over the islands below her. Her home.

The home she could never return to.

She was lucky she could even do this, hover near it and see her mother and sisters.

Diana closed her eyes, blinking away tears that would only have fallen into the salty sea, mingling with the waters of Poseidon.

She felt a soft, loving caress of her mind, and then a gentle hand on her shoulder. Unable to hold back the tears in the face of J'onn's unbarred love, Diana turned, away from her home, and into the arms of her lover.

Ohhhh, this is so beautiful and wistful! It works so well in the JLU, where both of them have lost their homes and can be there for each other...the image of the two of them floating in the air together, comforting each other, is very lovely...
