Augh! *wibbles* This is a use of photographic memory I've never seen, and that smarts a whole lot...but you describe the almost hallucinogenic clarity of seeing the details like snapshots really well. (Love the line about memories perhaps getting "rumpled around the edges").

Poor, poor Bruce with his photographic memory... it must really suck sometimes. *hugs him* That line was one of my favorites. :)
