My muses need a bit of prodding, so I'm taking requests for drabbles! Give me a pairing, or character, and a prompt, and I'll do my best.

Dick was staring at his elvin lover. He had experienced a lot of things with him, learning things he had never dreamed about, but being called a melon? That was something new. Legolas tilted his head, staring at him. Dick had seen his otherworldly stare hundreds of times by now, but it never failed to send a shiver down his spine. That something so perfect, so beautiful was paying attention to him! It was inconceivable.
But back to the start. Legolas had called him a melon. Was this some weird Evlin thing? Or was he just confused? Millennia old his lover might be, but he was still adorably confounded with modern life.
"Melon? What's a melon?" It never hurt to ask these things, you could never know.
Legolas smiled, a flirting at his lips, and Dick felt his knees turn to jelly. "Mellon. It means 'friend'."
"Oh." Dick nodded, sitting down, still staring at him. His lover's tiny smile deepened.
"I am honored to call you my mellon."
Dick was still nodding, dazed. "And I'm very happy to call you my... mellon, too!" Legolas smiled again, then kissed him lightly.

That about sums up my actual reaction. Oh, that's so sweet. I love Dick's game tone of "Who knows, maybe elves use 'melon' as a term of endearment, like 'honey.'" And Legolas's smile being described as A flirting at his lips" is just delicious. Mmmm...

Bruce sighed. This was... annoying. It always happened. Everytime he dressed in front of Clark, Clark would turn into a brainless idiot, doing nothing but staring at him dreamily. Bruce rolled his eyes, but Clark only sighed. He sounded like a girl.
It didn't matter what he wore, even if he was just pulling on overalls in the cave, if Clark could see him - and Bruce was beginning to suspect even when he wasn't present, if the video footage he had seen was any indication, Clark turned into this... brainless being, who could only sigh, in a dreamy manner. Bruce considered rolling his eyes again, but didn't for fear of another sigh. Clark really did have some weird fantasies.
Patience, Bruce reminded himself, gritting his teeth when Clark let out another sigh. Patience. It wouldn't take long... Bruce had barely finished the thought before Clark pounced and returned him to his formally unclothed state. Bruce hid a smirk. Now, time to get Clark to make some other sounds...
