Drabble: Light and Hope
Title: Light and Hope

The dogs were playing, running and barking to one another, dashing in and out of the waves. Ace had been investigating the tide line, while Krypto was more interested in tree branches Clark could throw for him. Bruce watched them silently from the shelter of an outcrop of rock.
Clark had dragged him out here, to the beach below the manor, after he had been working in the cave for three solid days, hunting down a murderer; he knew he had brought him here to show him that not everything was corrupt and tainted.
He didn’t know that Bruce only had to look at Clark to know that. Clark, who brought such light and hope to him, and to all the world.
