“So, what do you think of them?” Steve asked, as he settled on the sofa beside her. Diana looked down at the book in her hands, frowned, then smiled at him. The sun was shining through the windows, lit his hair like spun gold - like the story she had just read.

“They are strange, but I like them. I only wish the princesses in them were allowed to fight.”

Steve chuckled, then gently brushed strands of her long dark hair away from her shoulder. Diana smiled again, caught his hand with her own and raised it to her lips.

And I agree with ilovetobefree, the Princesses SHOULD be allowed to fight, and this was a great line:
